Here we will explore ‘Creativity’ – challenging businesses to think innovatively to uncover ‘big’ growth opportunities. \nToday\, we are undergoing a paradigm shift. The world is not only changing because of technological innovation\, but this has been accelerated due to COVID-19. \nTo navigate this disruption\, individuals\, companies\, and leaders need to take control of their own destiny. It requires us to make bold decisions in a world of uncertainty. How do we compete with the giants? How do we spur growth amidst increased global competition? Today\, we need to be bold\, brave\, and experimental. \nDisruptive times require disruptive ideas. In this high-energy presentation\, shot completely in a 750-person empty theatre\, Shawn Kanungo provides a bold roadmap for the future. He explores: \n\n\n\nHow can we establish Alberta as a beacon for innovation and entrepreneurship\nHow can we take unexpected approaches to innovation to remain competitive and relevant\nHow do we apply strategies from the new disruptors outside of your industry\n\n\n\nAbout the Speaker \nShawn Kanungo is a disruption strategist. He has been recognized nationally and globally for his work in the innovation space after 12 years working at Deloitte. Shawn’s mandate at the firm was to help corporate executives to better understand and plan for the opportunities and threats associated with disruptive innovation. \nKanungo’s work and interviews have been featured in Forbes\, the Globe and Mail\, The Guardian\, CBC\, and CTV.
