The Alberta Blockchain Consortium is a non profit corporation aimed at promoting and uniting the blockchain industry within our province. Our events are open to the public and all are welcome. We wish to educate and create an inclusive environment for networking, business development, and cross sector collaboration.
Our Edmonton meet ups are every last Thursday of the month. We provide food, wine, non alcoholic beverages and conversation about blockchain. We prefer to engage our speakers in an interview, panel, or debate instead of having presentations.

The rules for crypto companies in Canada are changing. Last year, changes to Canada’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations were published. Once made final, these regulations will apply to “dealers in virtual currency” (including exchanges, brokerages, and BTM operators).
