Ken Bautista is Partner/CEO of Makespace Group and co-founder of Startup Edmonton; building at the intersection of brand, culture and physical space. Part studio, hospitality operator and retail developer, Makespace partners with brands and building owners to activate and operate unique gathering spaces, urban campuses and branded environments. With over a million square feet of space in its portfolio, Makespace is actively developing spaces and experiences in Calgary, Toronto and other markets.
He will share his latest projects and vision for Edmonton – transforming one million square feet Downtown from the ground up to accelerate the next wave of talent and growth in our city.
