About this Event

Audience: High-school and Undergraduate-college students

The SSEC is an online (virtual) competition for high-school and undergraduate-college students, interested in the future of space technology and entrepreneurship. Over the course of this 3-5 day online competition event, students will develop a space-industry start-up company that meets the needs of a newly-designed space settlement (2020’s competition description-

Students will learn about: the entrepreneurial mindset, marketing, problem and solution ideation, business models, prototyping, investor pitch decks, and the all-important elevator pitch.
