The holiday season is upon us and as per tradition, the elegant Empire Ballroom at the stately Fairmont Hotel MacDonald will open its doors to Art of Conversation’s The Christmas Gathering. The moment you step into the foyer of Edmonton’s Château on the River, your eyes will pop at the sight of a two-story gingerbread house which took 600 hours to bake and assemble. In the spirit of the Yuletide season, bins will be available for donations to the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton, Adopt-a-Teen, and The Second Chance Animal Rescue Society. So deck yourself out in your holiday finest (ugly Christmas sweaters welcome) and join us in celebration of the festive season. Bring a friend, you never know who you’ll meet.
