From climate solutions and human health transformations to technological advancements and social impact, UBC is a rich bedrock of innovation home to entrepreneurs generating impacts through research and discoveries. Meet some of them at our 2021 Venture Showcase!
Last year’s showcase welcomed 400 attendees including funders, industry partners, academic collaborators and community members to celebrate entrepreneurship and innovation. This year, we look forward to welcoming you once again to meet our thriving community of early-stage ventures leading the future of industries at our 2021 Venture Showcase.

Who is it for?
entrepreneurship@UBC’s Venture Showcase event will give our UBC ecosystem (students, staff, faculty and alumni), investors, government and other industry organizations the ability to keep their thumb on the pulse of the next big thing, while providing our ventures with the exposure and opportunity to learn more about the funding landscape. Everyone from our community is welcome to attend.
How it works
The 2021 Venture Showcase will feature ventures in three different categories: Ones-to-Watch and Sneak-a-Peek from the incubation phase of entrepreneurship@UBC and those who are later-stage in the HATCH Ready-to-Raise group seeking investment.

Location and Registration
The 2021 Venture Showcase will be hosted in person at UBC Robson Square in downtown Vancouver as well as available via live stream on Zoom.
Upon registration, kindly confirm if you will be attending in person or via live stream. The live stream link will be sent to attendees in advance of the Showcase. In person capacity is limited and will be on a first come first serve basis.
Registrants can find a copy of their registration form in their confirmation email under “order summary” then clicking “view and manage your order online”.
COVID-19 Protocols
Per BC’s provincial health guidelines, we require all in person attendees to be fully vaccinated and show proof of vaccination status and identification upon entry. Attendees unable to do so will be turned away at the door. Masks are required while indoors.
