150$The Works Summer Solstice Gala is an unforgettable evening of entertainment and fine fare that will launch the 34th annual The Works Art & Design Festival and Edmonton’s summer season!
The Festival has seen over 8.65 million visitors to over 1,583 exhibits and 918 festival sites, featuring 36,000 artworks. The Gala also celebrates the success of The Places – Art & Design in Public Places Program. Since its inception in 1999, The Places has produced over 7The 6 Public Art & Design Projects throughout downtown and other neighbourhoods – raising over 9.7 million dollars in cash and in-kind contributions.
Your presence supports Council Scholarships and Art Internships at The Works, awarded to advance the development of Edmonton’s talented visual art and design students. With over 300 Internships and Scholarships awarded, these students in turn become key members of the cultural workforce, enriching our communities.
