Edmonton NextGen MEAET Pitch Event

15$Edmonton’s NextGen is excited to present Lunch MEAET – a micro-funding event that showcases local initiatives – with a scrumptious lunch twist on Saturday, February 23!
Over lunch, you will hear pitches from local independent projects, initiaves, and businesses that have a mental health or wellness component. Listen to the pitches and get to know the presenters, then vote on your favourite one. Votes will be tallied and $10 of your ticket price will go to the winning pitch; helping their project succeed in the community.
Want to pitch your project, initiative or business at our Lunch MEAET event?
Fill out this online form! applications will be accepted until Sunday, February 3rd. Your project or idea needs to have a wellness or mental health component to be considered as a pitch for the event.
The lunch portion of the event will involve a catered lunch. We’ll also provide mental health and wellness self-care activities, including:
- Therapy animals from @CAAWLS (Chimo Animal Assisted Wellness and Learning Society)
- Family friendly activities – ring toss, bullseye, colouring and more
- Tea samples from @David’s Tea
- More to be announced soon!

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is paid underground parking available in the building. Edmonton tower is within walking distance of Central & Churchill LRT stations and several bus stops.
Is the event accessible?
The facility is equipped with elevators and accessible washrooms. Please contact us if you would ilke additional accomodations.
Is the event child friendly?
This is a family-friendly event and children are welcome to attend!
Children under the age of 15 are free when registering.
