YEG Job Club exists to connect job seekers with like-minded folks, business representatives, and industry experts in their career search.
A job club is an informal meetup that allows individuals to learn from others about how best to find their next role.
When you arrive we will facilitate conversations that can help you accelerate your search and potentially introduce you to your next employer or a career coach that will assist you. We will provide opportunities to sharpen your networking skills during a casual event.
Come for the networking and introductions, stay for the food and beer!
FAQs
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
While it is an all ages venue, anyone purchasing alcohol will need to have proper ID for consumption.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is free street parking after 6:00 pm, a parking lot just north west of the event centre, it’s within the boundaries for e-scooters, and completely accessible by transit and bicycle (bike racks out front).
What can I bring into the event?
Don’t worry about bringing a resume. Just bring a couple of questions that you have about your job search and an idea of one company or role you’d like to learn more about!
