The Meta HQ Keynote
At the Keynote, Mark Zuckerberg and Alexander Wang introduced new styles of Wearable Glasses with MUSE AI!
Followed by lightweight VR glasses (spring 2027) – the wearable VR beyond gaming into “wearables for work”?
They also unveiled Muse Realtime Avatars, a state-of-the-art embodiment technology that turns Muse Realtime Voice into expressive, interactive avatars https://research.meta.ai/blog/bringing-your-muse-to-life!
And they introduced the Muse Charm – to “hang” and talk with you (just in time for the Holiday Season).

The Meta Campus Village Day 1
You’ve all heard the saying “it takes a village” to move the needle. The Meta Connect Campus is the physical Village where the collision of minds happens organically and unexpectedly– a village transformed by key knowledge sessions and workshops, with Industry experts and real-life use cases, Meta partners and collaborators.
Interspersed throughout the Campus are interactive creative arts and culinary food shops and kiosks where one can experience Meta AI Glasses to wear for the Campus journey! So let’s go!
Experiencing Meta Glasses on Campus
Couldn’t resist the opportunity to have Meta team pair Glasses with my cell phone to experience my village walk! For those who know me, I’m always in search of new and favourite foodie bites. So, when I heard “you have to try the Dragon Breath Ice Cream”, I immediately made a beeline to the shop! One adventurous person was happy to be filmed partaking in the Dragon Breath treat! I watched her take the bites… and whoa, she frosty Dragon Ice Smoke emanated to her delight! Timely that Meta glasses were able to catch her dragon breath in seconds!
Next action, outside the ice cream shop, I decided to chat with the first people seated outside the shop. Meet Minori and Irene from Japan! Both of them also owned Meta AI glasses and were happy to chat. Once they realized I was filming them in a video instead of a photo, they laughed, unfroze their post and joined in on the fun…hilarious!
At the end of the Meta AI Glass journey, their team were able do one click to download all the images and videos to my cellphone. Awesome!
At the Glass Shop
As the evening progressed, I decided to join a group in front of the artfully built Meta Glass Shop, where you can try on almost every version of Meta wearable glasses. There was still a waiting line even when the shop was almost empty. We’re told that entry was delayed, as they were waiting for a VIP to arrive. Can you guess who the VIP was?
Once in the shop, we wasted no time in trying almost everything on…and yes, that’s the Meta Limited Edition Glasses being given a test run 😊!

Whoa! BlackPink! The moving display circle of Glasses by Lalisa Manobal), a global superstar and member of BLACKPINK. Lisa collaborated with Meta on the Meta Glasses by LISA collection introduced at Meta Connect 2026.
Now ready for some quieter time, take in “Visual Fuel” for the eyes and senses – Origami to calm and awaken the senses of 3D art form!
Then I realized the entire wall of origami art forms were in constant motion!
Lights – Action
As the evening night skies arrived, music, light, and colour sent waves across parts of the Campus! A great end to Day 1 at Meta Connect 2026!
